Home is not a place, it’s a feeling and for most of our residents, they know it from the moment they first set foot in the village. When you purchase a home at Renishaw Hills, you’re buying into more than just a secure and spectacular mature lifestyle development. You’re entering into an inclusive community of tight-knit, like-minded people. Of all the things that we can feel proud of, our sense of community is one that stands out.
From weekly socials to impromptu braais and even our residents’ regular “pop-up” markets, no one is ever excluded. Some of our residents have relocated from other parts of the country and abroad, and all have been made to feel part of our community.
Even those who have experienced loss and want a new start have found what they’re looking for at Renishaw Hills, proving that retirement isn’t a chapter at the end of your story but often just the beginning. When life is a series of adventures, we’d like for your retirement to be the best one of all.
Our position on the South Coast allows our residents to enjoy their surroundings daily. Whether it’s a beach-side stroll, a walk on our nature trails or simply making the most of outdoor living, there are many ways to take in the glorious weather. Alongside our natural splendour, you’ll find a host of wonderful local businesses. We take great joy in supporting them as they do us. In celebrating Scottburgh, we’re able to drive the success of the area on several levels, ensuring that it remains a fantastic place to live.
Our residents join forces at every possible opportunity. This gives every individual a place to belong no matter their interests. With many events, the Renishaw Hills calendar is bursting with opportunities to mingle with fellow residents and join in the fun.
If there’s anything we can do to help you, we do it.. During the build-up to taking occupancy, we help with the finer details to make your move as seamless and simple as possible. This includes moving day, where residents are greeted at their front doors with a bottle of wine and a small gift to welcome them home.
