Demand for units within Renishaw Hills – a mature lifestyle village to be developed on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast – is greater than expected with a waiting list already established for Phase 1.

Situated within the tranquil Mpambanyoni Conservation Development to the west of Scottburgh, Renishaw Hills forms the first of a number of developments, which will unfold into an estate of interconnected commercial and residential villages over the next 20 to 30 years.

“Our architectural consultants are currently finalising the layout of the entire site, which will include 350 houses, 200 apartments, open areas and communal facilities,” said Julieann. “Once completed, we will demarcate Phase 2 which will then be displayed on our website alongside future phasing planned.”

Phase 2 of Renishaw Hills will include freestanding houses, as well as a limited number of duplex-type buildings which will consist of two separate homes, one above the other, with separate entrances.

“The reason for this design is to enhance the views from every home while working around the site’s topography. We are also in the process of developing the design for apartments which will also be on our website soon.”

The positioning of Renishaw Hills will allow residents to enjoy captivating ocean views, the pristine coastal forest and untouched wetlands in one of the country’s most picturesque locations. Commenting on the infrastructure progress, Julieann said: “We are awaiting the final approvals from Umdoni Municipality and the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Environmental Affairs before we begin construction, but these are expected by the end of May.”

“Once received, we will begin the construction of a 3km access road, gatehouse and showhouse. We will also be installing electrical, domestic water, waste removal and communications’ infrastructure, as well as security fencing.”
